Day 01 – Pune to Ranjangaon: Beginning the Sacred Journey
The spiritual journey begins with departure from Pune towards the revered temple town of Jejuri Khandoba Temple, dedicated to Lord Khandoba, the guardian deity of Maharashtra. After darshan and breakfast, the journey continues towards Mayureshwar Temple at Morgaon, regarded as the first and most important temple in the sacred Ashtavinayak pilgrimage circuit.
After seeking blessings, the trail proceeds to Siddhivinayak Temple, situated on the banks of the Bhima River, where devotees worship Lord Ganesha as the bestower of success. Lunch is arranged at Daund before continuing to Chintamani Temple, associated with the legend of Lord Ganesha restoring the precious Chintamani jewel.
The day concludes at Mahaganapati Temple, where Lord Ganesha is worshipped in his powerful Mahaganapati form. After darshan, overnight stay at Ranjangaon.
Day 02 – Ranjangaon to Shirdi: Blessings of Shani and Sai
After breakfast, the journey proceeds to the renowned pilgrimage site of Shani Shingnapur Temple, famous for its unique tradition where houses in the village are believed to remain without doors, symbolizing the protective presence of Lord Shani. Devotees spend time for darshan before continuing towards Shirdi.
On arrival, visit the sacred shrine of Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir, dedicated to Sai Baba of Shirdi, whose teachings of faith and patience continue to inspire millions of devotees. Evening is free for darshan and spiritual experience at Shirdi. Overnight stay at Shirdi.
Day 03 – Shirdi to Bhimashankar: In the Hills of the Western Ghats
Early morning darshan at the Sai Baba temple is followed by breakfast before continuing the pilgrimage towards Vighneshwar Temple, where Lord Ganesha is worshipped as the remover of obstacles.
The journey then proceeds to Girijatmaj Temple, uniquely located within ancient rock-cut caves carved into the hillside. After lunch at Ozar, the trail moves through scenic landscapes of the Western Ghats towards Bhimashankar Temple, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Evening darshan and overnight stay at Bhimashankar.
Day 04 – Bhimashankar to Pune: Completing the Ashtavinayak Circuit
The morning begins with peaceful darshan at Bhimashankar before departing for Varadvinayak Temple, where devotees pray to Lord Ganesha as the fulfiller of wishes.
After lunch, the journey continues to Ballaleshwar Temple, the only temple among the Ashtavinayak dedicated to a devotee, Ballal, symbolizing the power of true devotion.
With blessings from all the sacred shrines, the pilgrimage concludes as the group proceeds back to Pune, carrying with them the spiritual memories of a divine journey across Maharashtra’s revered temples.
